E. Dale Smith (Author)is a 2009 alum of the Columbia School of the Arts MFA Playwriting Program where he served as the Shubert Playwriting Fellow for 2006. Dale has had several productions of his work produced in the city including Rhoda Heartbreak (2008), In Face (2009), Stella Mann (2009), and Rhoda Heartbreak: The Musical (2010). Other works include Pearls of Wisdom (2006) and Forsaken: A Musical (2004). Dale currently serves as co-chair of the Arts Department at Dr. Susan S. McKinney Secondary School of the Arts in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn, where he teaches theatre.
Braden Chapman (original concept/direction) most well known for his drag queen alter ego Mimi Imfurst, is a producer, director and sometimes actor. Aside from two notorious turns on RuPaul’s Drag Race, as Mimi Imfurst he has also appeared in drag on Nurse Jackie, CelebrityApprentice, Blue Bloods and ABC’s What Would You Do? He has directed and produced productions of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, INTO THE WOODS. As a producer he created the RuPaul’s Drag Race Battle of the Seasons tour (now touring 60 cities international with LIVE NATION) and created the ground breaking girl group XELLE. Aside from touring as a drag comedian and cabaret artist he has starred in several drag theater pieces including THE DIARY OF ANN FRANKENSTEIN, THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND (THE GOLDEN GIRLS UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL) THE FACTS OF LIFE- THE LOST EPISODE and RHODA HEARTBREAK: THE MUSICAL. He currently splits his time between New York City and Philadelphia and founded the production company FAUX REAL ENTERTAINMENT.
BObby Goodrich (Divine) is a costume designer and actor based in Philadelphia. He attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania and apprenticed at the Walnut Street Theatre. Most recently he was appeared Brat Productions production of Eternal Glamnation and played Little Red in an all-drag production of INTO THE WOODS. He also has an original drag character, Cleo Phatra who performs in clubs all over the east coast. Love to my family, Braden, and my dearest Judy.
Ryan Walter (Glenn Milstead) is graduate of Vassar College, recent acting credits include: Audrey in As You Like It and the Duchess/Carlisle in Richard II (Quintessence Theatre Group), Krogstad in A Dolls House (Ebaneezer Maxwell Mansion), Birdboot in The Real Inspector Hound (Curio Theatre Company), Rob Debree/others in The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later (Quince Productions), Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare in Clark Park), and Mason in Take Me Out (Plays & Players). In addition he works as a teaching artist with Lantern Theatre Company and Philadelphia Young Playwrights, as well as an after-school teacher at Friends Select School. Ryan has also had the privilege to direct his roommate’s one man show about Jeffrey Dahmer called Guilty But Insane to rave reviews at Brainspunk Theater Company.
Terrell M. Green (Leigh, Peggy) is a Philadelphia native that has gone on to study theatre performance and speech therapy at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, Shakespeare Performance at Oxford University in England, Marionette Puppeteering in Cork and Dublin, Ireland. Terrell returned to Philadelphia and now teaches theatre and puppetry with The Arden Theatre, The Walnut St. Theatre, Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre and Philadelphia Young Playwrights. Terrell and his partner enjoy producing theatre together with their company, Dot Dot Dot And Company Productions, LLC, trying new foods and working in the community.
Cosimo Mariano (MIGUEL, Daniel, Bernard Jay) is a multidisciplinary theater artist, born and raised in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. Having received his training at Temple University’s School of Theater, Cosimo enjoyed four seasons of Main stage shows. Multiple roles in Hamlet including the gravedigger, Tateh in Ragtime, and The Sewer-man in The Devils for which he was nominated to compete at the Kennedy Center American Collegiate Theater Festival. He has performed as Ronnie Worthington in Out of Order for the Hedgerow Theater, and as Riff-Raff in The Rocky Horror show ( Philly Fringe ) Cosimo has thrice emceed the Scythian Masquerade Ball, New Years Eve at the Carnegie Library in Washington D.C. as his cabaret alter-ego: Count Axel Von Furstenberg. Cosimo can also be seen dancing in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village. For the past six years Cosimo has served as head of wardrobe, as well as in the makeup department, for Bates Motel productions, overseeing costume creation and management for The Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride, and Pennhurst Asylum; while also teaching after school drama at Albert Einstein Hebrew Academy, where he has mounted 8 full productions with students & staff. Cosimo co- produced, and co-wrote the film A Bates Haunting available on iTunes and Redbox.
Nicholas Scheppard (JOHN WATERS, HARRIS MILSTEAD) is a recent graduate of the Musical Theatre program at the University of the Arts and is so excited to be a part of telling this story. Thanks to the cast, crew and creative team for this wild ride and to his family, always.
